Analytical and Experimental Investigation of a Triangular-Channeled Solar Water Heater

Utilization of solar energy is increasing in different states the world, and sun regarded as largest source continuous coherent energy. In present study, a novel configuration v-corrugated collector with triangular channels for domestic water heating has been analytically investigated. A mathematical model based on effectiveness-NTU method established to thermally examine collector. Additionally, heat losses from body collector, useful efficiency have calculated over operating parameters. The effects mass flow rate flux outlet temperature are evaluated compared experimental results. Moreover, study includes theoretical investigation exchange effectiveness thermal proposed absorber. shows that high performance can be obtained this more collected by using because all three sides these exposed radiations at same time. Therefore, will enhance surface area thereby increase overall system.
